$19,229 to support victims of sexual assault

The U.S. Department of Justice announced annual funding of $19,229 for the Sexual Assault Services Program in the Northern Marianas. The grant supports a rape crisis center and nonprofit, nongovernmental organizations that help victims of sexual assault. The CNMI Criminal Justice Planning Agency manages the funds.
