ARRA Summary
This table, compiled by your Congressional office, contains information about the funding included in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.  The Act is intended to provide economic stimulus to the nation during this time of economic hardship, to protect and create jobs, and to help build a base for future economic health.

Congressional Budget Office Report on ARRA – Through the first quarter of 2011, the stimulus created between 1.6 million and 4.6 million jobs, increased real GDP by between 1.1 and 3.1 percent, and reduced unemployment by between 0.6 and 1.8 percentage points.
