More time for RFE & NOID response

Mar 27, 2020

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has announced that it will consider responses to Requests for Evidence and Notices of Intent to Deny dated between March 1 and May 1, 2020 that are submitted within 60 calendar days of the due date stated in the RFE or NOID. This is the latest action the agency is taking in response to the COVID 19 pandemic. USCIS also extended the closure of all offices through April 7. Appointments originally scheduled during those dates will be automatically rescheduled when the agency resumes normal operations. USCIS is providing emergency services for limited situations. Persons needing such services should contact the USCIS Contact Center . Your congressional office is also available to assist with connecting you with the agency.
