$2,368,407 awarded for ARFF Training Facility

The U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration announced an award of $2,368,407 to the Commonwealth Ports Authority this week.  The grant will support construction activities at the Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) training facility at Francisco C. Ada/Saipan International Airport and help the airport meet Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) certification requirements.  This grant represents the fifth phase of construction funding for this project.  Congratulations to the Commonwealth Ports Authority.
