Teachers denied loan forgiveness

Kelly Finlaw, an arts teacher from New York, is among the thousands of teachers and others in public service, who have been denied forgiveness of student loans, as mandated in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. The Trump administration is rejecting 99 percent of applications. I am cosponsoring legislation, H.R. 2441, to make it easier to qualify and quicker for those who devote their working lives to service to get this promised thank you from the public.
